iGuard Express Time & Attendance

 

iGuardExpress is our latest Time & Attendance product specially designed to work with our cloud-based iGuardPayroll server.

It allows employees to Clock IN & Clock OUT using most popular contactless smartcard of their own.  It supports Mifare® contactless smartcard.  In addition, it is able to sense Octopus card and supports other popular smartcard standards, including ISO/IEC 14443 and Mifare 13.56 MHz.

This means that most of the popular payment cards for shopping and transportation in the city can be used.

As a result, your company no longer needs to provide and maintain the contactless smartcards for your employees.

iGuardExpress also has built-in camera to take snapshots of the employees when they clock in.  These snapshots will be sent to the iGuardPayroll server along with the access log record. You can later on retrieve these snapshots in iGuardPayroll to identify who the person is.

Multi-Factor Authentication:  

With iGuard, users can be authenticated and verified through either Fingerprint, Smartcard or Password. And depending on the different time period, you can set up the iGuard that the users can just simply presents his smartcard to get authorized (such as during high-traffic period), or requires the high-security fingerprint verification (such as after office hours or during weekends and holidays).

Access Rights:  

When you can easily and conveniently assign different access rights to your employees, you can plan your security better and maximize the effectiveness of the human resources . And with the built-in Web Server technology, iGuard empowers you to manage the access rights of each individual employees or a group of employees easily anytime, anywhere using any web-enabled computers or mobile devices. For example, you can assign the staff members of the marketing department the rights to get in the office premises during weekdays from nine to five only, or prevent a particular employee from entering the computer server room.

Reports: 

iGuard includes three built-in reports: Access Log, Attendance Report & Daily In/Out report, that can be accessed via any web-enabled computer with web browser. Should more sophisticated reports be required, such as for the payroll purposes, the information can be downloaded and saved in Microsoft Excel format and in plain text format. In addition, the access records can be saved in any PC in the network in the popular ODBC database format in real-time manner, and other applications can conveniently obtain the information from the ODBC (the required software, iServer is available free-of-charge in our download page)

Economical:

All the necessary hardware and software is built-in to the device, including the hardware to connect the system to the corporate network. All you need to do is to plug-in the popular RJ-45 network cable to the back of the device. No other hardware and wiring is necessary. In contrast, all other existing security systems use the old RS232 & RS485 wiring system to connect to the dedicated computers (not to the corporate network), and it usually involves a lot of extra wiring works. 5. Small Footprint:

The Impinj xArray is a fixed infrastructure RFID gateway that integrates a RFID reader with antennas to provide always-on, wide-area monitoring for real-time identification, location, and direction of RFID tagged items. The xArray provides wide area monitoring through its beam-forming antenna array, which delivers full power throughout a 40 foot diameter when ceiling-mounted at 15 feet high. The xArray can distinguish 52 different antenna beams providing for location assignment within the read zone, and the antennas radiate a linear pattern in both the horizontal and vertical paths in order to read tags in any orientation. The reader itself is optimized to read many thousands of tags very quickly, and to distinguish tags of interest from the rest of the field. This device can be configured to handle both wide area monitoring scenarios and portal applications. Moreover, Impinj has added robust tag direction capability that has been proven accurate even in difficult, real world environments.

Both cost-effective and easy to deploy, the xArray system’s slim profile was designed to mount easily into a single tile of a standard drop ceiling, where it is unobtrusive and able to blend into any décor. The xArray includes a tilt sensor, hysteresis feedback, and programmable beacon to alert users when the system or environment may need attention. The xArray draws minimal power (which keeps costs low) and runs from standard PoE (IEEE 802.3af), so there is no need to hire an expensive electrician for installation. Furthermore, the xArray is programmed using industry-standard LLRP and Impinj extensions, for maximum re-use of code and minimum delays due to learning curve with new APIs.

Near field communication (NFC) tags (also referred as  NFC sticker tag or NFC smart labels) are a short-range RF technology that use a base frequency of 13.56 MHz. Infineon NRG™ SLE 66R35 Card

NRG™ SLE 66R35x

The NRG™ SLE 66R35x offering is suited for the use in multi-application schemes, for example combining a transportation fare collection scheme and a ticketing system such as a stadium ticketing. Both applications can be performed with the same card, as hierarchical key management is supported.

The RF communication interface transmits at 106 kbit/s resulting in short transaction times, the effect being that a card user can move freely through a reader gate with minimum disruption. A typical ticketing transaction can be handled in less than 100 ms. Robust contactless transmission means that the card with SLE 66R35x may also remain in the wallet of the user even if there are coins in it.

Security Features

Access to SLE 66R35x is only allowed after a three-pass authentication. For SLE 66R35E7 the serial number is unique for each card and cannot be changed. Each data transmission is enciphered. Protection from misuse is done by configurable access conditions that are protected by secret keys used for memory operations such as read or write.

The Target of Evaluation (TOE), the SLE66CX322P with RSA2048 chip, is a smart card IC
(Security Controller) meeting the highest requirements in terms of performance and security. It is
manufactured by Infineon Technologies AG in a 0,22 µm CMOS technology. The IC is intended to
be used in smart cards for particularly security-relevant applications.
In this security target the TOE (target of evaluation) is described and a summary specification is
given. The security environment of the TOE during its different phases of the lifecycle is defined.
The assets are identified which have to be protected through the security policy. The threats
against these assets are described. The security objectives as the objectives of the security policy
are defined as well as the security requirements. The requirements are built up of the security
functional requirements as part of the security policy and the security assurance requirements as
the steps during the evaluation and certification to show the TOE meets its requirements. The

The SLE 66CX360PE is another member of the improved 66PE-series of Infineon Technologies. This high performance security crypto controller is manufactured in advanced 0.22 µm CMOS technology. It is downward compatible to existing 66P controller derivatives. The well known ECO2000 8/16 bit CPU provides the high efficiency of the SAB 8051 instruction set extended by additional powerful instructions together with enhanced performance, memory sizes and security features compared to existing 66P derivatives.
Performance: The internal clock frequency can be adjusted to a level up to 33 MHz either as a multiple of 1,2,3,4 to the external frequency or independent of the clock rate of the terminal with the help of the internal clock.
