MIFARE DESFire EV1 (MF3ICD(H) 21/41/81), a Common Criteria (EAL4+) certified product, is ideal for service providers wanting to use secure multi-application smart cards in public transport schemes, access managment or closed-loop e-payment applications. It is fully complies with the requirements for fast and highly secure data transmission, flexible memory organization and interoperability with existing infrastructure.
MIFARE DESFire EV1 is based on open global standards for both air interface and cryptographic methods. It is compliant to all 4 levels of ISO/IEC 14443A and uses optional ISO/IEC 7816-4 commands.
Featuring an on-chip backup management system and the mutual three pass authentication, a MIFARE DESFire EV1 card can hold up to 28 different applications and 32 files per application. The size of each file is defined at the moment of its creation, making MIFARE DESFire EV1 a truly flexible and convenient product.
Additionally, an automatic anti-tear mechanism is available for all file types, which guarantees transaction oriented data integrity. With MIFARE DESFire EV1, data transfer rates up to 848 kbit/s can be achieved, allowing fast data transmission.

MIFARE DESFire EV2 has evolved over time, enhancing its security properties to protect
against current and future security threats, and adding new features to better suit into new

MIFARE DESFire EV2 is the third generation of the MIFARE DESFire products family
succeeding MIFARE DESFire EV1. It is functionally backward compatible with both

NTAG210 and NTAG212 have been developed by NXP Semiconductors as standard NFC

and NTAG212 (from now on, generally called NTAG21x) are designed to fully comply to
NFC Forum Type 2 Tag (Ref. 2) and ISO/IEC14443 Type A (Ref. 1) specifications.
Target applications include Out-of-Home and print media smart advertisement, SoLoMo
applications, product authentication, NFC shelf labels, mobile companion tags.
The mechanical and electrical specifications of NTAG21x are tailored to meet the

1.1 Contactless energy and data transfer
Communication to NTAG21x can be established only when the IC is connected to an
antenna. Form and specification of the coil is out of scope of this document.
When NTAG21x is positioned in the RF field, the high speed RF communication interface
allows the transmission of the data with a baud rate of 106 kbit/s.

UCODE 7xm RFID Tags, Labels,
The UCODE 7xm series is the latest generation of NXP’s memory UHF tag ICs. With the
leading-edge read range UCODE 7xm is well suited for applications which require high
read range and also demanding an extended user memory to store data specific to
customer or products. UCODE 7xm offers an user memory of 1-kbit or 2-kbit, whereas
UCODE 7xm+ supports 2-kbit user memory and a 384-bit digital signature.
Both products incorporate features known from UCODE 7 like pre-serialization, tag power
indicator as well as the product status flag.
There are numbers of applications where the combination of high read range and user
memory is needed, such as:
